7. 5/21- I just finished my piece based off of Avatar and am very pleased with it as well. it came out looking nice with a pretty sunset in the background of a somewhat “trippy”, colorful, land.
6. 5/7- Although the painting of Jesus is coming along great, I am going to have to stop painting it in class. The piece is viewed as inappropriate and will not be allowed in the art show. I am disappointed that it is not allowed but at the same time find it reasonable. I see where my teacher is coming from by not allowing it and offered to take it home to work on it. for my next piece I plan on painting Tupac.I have just finished my painting of Tupac and I am pleased with its’ turn out. I wanted to symbolize that Tupac was the ” Rose that grew form concrete”, and I think I did an okay job at doing so. I think this has been my fastest painting yet and am proud of it. Next I would like to make a painting based off of the beauty I saw in the scenery of the movie Avatar.
5. 4/23 - I have just finished my still life drawings and they all fit together nicely. it evolved into 6 individual drawings that all fit together to form one large piece. Next I plan to create a new painting on a 10″ x 20″ canvas. My painting will be of jesus sitting at the long table but he will be counting money and drinking wine with beautiful women nourishing him. The painting is for a friend that gave me the idea and is to show how awesome Jesus was. The man got billions of people to believe in him and follow him. I believe that if he was able to do this then he truly was a “Boss”.

4. 3/19/10- I am about to be done my last individual piece to go with my 5 others. together they are going to tell a story of this battle between humans and their imaginations. They fit together pretty well and I am excited to see the final product. I think it will be done in about one more week.
3. 3/5/10- So far I have finished 3 drawings surveilling the still life. Two of them go together well, and i am working on fitting the third into this large piece. I hope to have about six individual pieces that will fit together to tell a story. I am working with kingthis thought that imagination is filled with colors and are the peaceful side to humans. I have the humans as dark and wanting to pick a fight.
2. 2/19/10- The still life has been set up and I find it very interesting. we are working with forms of surveillance. After surveilling the still life a decided that i wanted to make a war scene where I can have all of these fantasy and crazy figures fighting the humans that are set up. I got this idea from an episode of South Park, called imagination land. In this 3 episode series, the south Park humans discover a portal that puts them in imagination land, a place where all of humans imaginations go. After the portal is discovered war breaks out. I hope to create a series of works that will form together to show this human verse imagination fight.
1. 2/5/10- I have just finished my acrylic painting on my trip to the Baltimore Aquarium. I really like the way that it turned out and am excited to put it in the art show. I used many bright colors to make different things stand out, and give the deep sea ocean a more psychedelic look. I am looking forward to my next piece which i believe will be based off of a still life that Mr. Miller is creating.

1/18- I am still working on my peice reflecting my trip to the baltimore aquarium. It is taking me alot of time because I took a break from it in order to get my website together. i hope to finish this paintings in about two to three more weeks.
1/05/- I have been working on my new peice of art for about a week in a half now and I am very excited to finish it. So far it is coming out great. the peice is of memories I have from a somewhat recent trip to the Baltimore Aquarium. the new painting is helping me to express all of the beautiful colors seen in ocean life and some of the psycodelic veiws of the deep sea. When the painting is finished I hope that the colors blend together and really make the viewers imagine underwater life they have probably never seen.
12/04- After almost a month and a half I have finally finished my Bob Marley painting. I am very pleased with how it turned out, but at the same time very frustrated with how long it took me. Now that I am finished with that painting and that project, I am going to make a new project proposal and new art. I decided I would like to have my next project describe or show some of the incredible things I got to see when I just took a trip to the Baltimore Aquarium. The colors and shapes of some animals in the ocean are just incredible and I would really like to express some of them in a painting.
11/20- It has now been about a month since I began my painting of Bob Marley, and it has been extremely annoying. I just painted over his whole body last week because of how frustrated I got with it. He was not proportionate, and every thing I did to try and fix it just made another part of his body look weird. After I painted over him I restarted and as of right now it is looking a lot better. I finished his body and head. The only thing I have left the background, where I would like to have a Jamaican beach. Being these portraits are taking me far to long I would like to switch my project all together at the completion of this painting.
10/16- I had just started a new painting of Bob Marley, and it has been extremely frustrating. Every time I finish a section of it I realize how unproportionate it is. So far i just have Bob Marley painted and his head is to big, arms are too small, and still needs a lot of work. I really hope to finish this painting in the next week even though it should already be done. In order to finish it this week I am going to have to focus 100 percent on that and not on my sketchbook. I hope to fix everything that is unproportioned and even start over if that is what has to happen.
10/02-It has now been 4 weeks since I started my painting of Christopher “Biggie” Wallace and I am very pleased with the results. I just put the finishing touches on it yesterday and I really like the way it came out. I am looking forward to starting my next painting. My next painting is going to be my visualization of lyrics from the grateful dead. It is also going to include illustrations of values and ideals that the grateful dead have and things that represent them. Because this painting is on a much smaller scale I hope to finish it in a little more than two weeks.
9/18-After two weeks of hard work I was slightly disappointed. I haven’t painted on a large scale in a very long time and did not realize how long it takes. In my proposal I stated that I would finish a painting a week. But as of now it has been two weeks and I am half way done my first painting. The first painting that I am doing is of Christopher Wallace, or Notorious B.I.G. Because he is such a big guy, goes by Big Poppa, Biggie, and Biggie Smalls, I figured his painting should be the biggest. I really like the way that he looks right now and think it has a lot of potential to be a great painting. I hope to finish this painting in the next two weeks.
